Wengfu Group announced to start construction on its 600 000 t/a diammonia phosphate/monoammonium phosphate (DAP/MAP) plant with a ceremony held at its Dazhou Phosphorus and Sulfur Chemical Base in Sichuan province on April 30th. East China Engineering Science and Technology Co Ltd is the EPC contractor of the plant.
The 300 000 t/a phosphoric acid production line, which is also being constructed in the Base, will supply the remaining phosphoric acid after extraction to this plant for making ammonia phosphate.
On April 29th Wengfu Zijin Chemical Co Ltd, a joint venture in which Wengfu Group holds 52% stake, was set up with a signing ceremony in Shanghang of Fujian province. The joint venture with a registered capital of RMB500 million will construct and operate a 200 000 t/a phosphoric acid production line.
